Samsun Metropolitan Municipality has organized Circular Economy Working Groups Workshops for 2(two) days on the 8th and 9th of December 2021 in the framework of the BSB-CIRCLECON project “Knowing Circular Economy in the Black Sea Basin”.
There were high-level speakers at the CEWG Workshops like the Mayor of Samsun, The Zero Waste Inventory and Training Branch Manager of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanism, and Climate Change, the Principal Advisor to the Greek Prime Minister along with others from the local university and environmental foundation which all stressed the importance of the circular economy for a sustainable future.
National/regional/public authorities, infrastructure-public service providers, NGO representatives, regional academia, and representatives of the private sector have attended the workshops to get informed on the circular economy model which is in line with the Zero Waste Management policy of Turkey.
