Greek Exporters’ Association – SEVE organized two thematic hybrid workshops, the first one on November 19, 2021 and the second on December 21st, 2021, in the framework of the BSB – CIRCLECON project “Knowing the Circular Economy in the Black Sea Basin”.

SEVE participates as a partner in the implementation of the CIRCLECON project, which is co-financed by the European Cross-Border Cooperation Program Joint Operational Program Black Sea Basin 2014-2020 and is implemented with partners from Bulgaria, Georgia, Ukraine and Turkey.

Its overall goal is to promote territorial coordination of environmental protection and sustainable development in the Black Sea Basin. The transition to a circular economy and waste management is a valuable resource and is a huge opportunity to create competitive advantages on a sustainable basis for Greek companies, especially export companies.

The workshops were about information on the adoption of the circular economy model, which is an EU priority since 2015 but also of the Greek National Action Plan for the Circular Economy.
